If you’ve come to rely on MassLive.com as your trusted news source, Google has introduced a feature that will make it easier to find the site when looking for news , weather , sports , entertainment and other Massachusetts information.

Google has launched “Preferred Sources” in the U.S., allowing people looking for information on the web to designate which websites they want to see first in search results.

When you select masslive.com as a Preferred Source, you’ll see more MassLive articles displayed in Google’s Top Stories feature or in the “From your sources” section on the results page, according to Google.

You’ll still see results from other sites, too, but it will be easier to find MassLive’s trusted, accurate, award-winning journalism .
