BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - A celebration of businesses owned by members of minority groups took place in downtown Binghamton.

The Greater Binghamton Chamber hosted the Minority, Woman, and Veteran Business Enterprises Expo this morning at the DoubleTree hotel.

Attendees had the opportunity to network with employees of other companies and nonprofit organizations. Speakers gave presentations about the importance of social media and networking to grow their brands.

Chamber Vice President Patrick Doyle says the event was a great way to promote these businesses.
