The 49ers’ Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks was a very damaging one in terms of injuries, with George Kittle now set for weeks on the sideline and Brock Purdy a doubt for Week 2.

But San Francisco got some good news on the injury front on Tuesday concerning wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

Jennings was hampered by a shoulder injury against Seattle, which limited him to 50 of the 49ers’ 76 offensive snaps in their 17-13 win.

An initial MRI scan on the injury came back clear, and Jennings now has a chance to feature in the Week 2 clash with the New Orleans Saints after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that additional tests were also clean. Jennings is considered day-to-day.
