Police in Brockton are searching for a suspect after a 14-year-old boy was shot and injured Sunday night, Brockton police said in a statement Monday.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Shortly before 7 p.m., officers found the boy in the area of Francis Street and Manners Avenue, police said.

A silver vehicle drove away from the scene, according to police.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
