A driver who said he was overtaken by two cars that appeared to be racing has told a jury how moments later he found a car 'in a hedge on fire.'

Dad-of-two Rhys Jenkins, 41, died and his nine-year-old son Ioan was seriously injured following a crash near the market town of Welshpool in Wales last November.

Two brothers from Manchester - Abubakr Ben Yusaf, 29, and Umar Ben Yusaf, 34 - are on trial charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing death while uninsured.

On the second day of the trial at Mold Crown Court today several witnesses said the brothers, who are from Cheetham Hill, seemed to be racing their cars before the collision on the on the Belan Straight on the A483, North Wales Live reports.
