Don’t expect the Ford government to scrap school boards this fall, despite arguments from trustees and boards that they should be done away with. From boards that have allowed antisemitism to run amok in schools, boards that have taken excessively expensive trips or boards that have put political agendas ahead of education, these are not good days for public education in Ontario.
