SALISBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - A rare sighting of a timber rattlesnake in Grand Isle County is prompting excitement.
The species, which was previously thought to be limited to western Rutland County, was photographed -- and later captured by Fish and Wildlife -- earlier this summer.
In this week’s Wildlife Watch, Ike Bendavid spoke with reptile expert Jim Andrews about what the sighting of the venomous snake might mean.
