Chaparrita’s opened in Valparaiso. The Mexican restaurant is located at 1603 E. Lincolnway suite A in the former Chunky Taco's space.

The menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, quesabirrias, gorditas, sopes, flautas and enchiladas. It also serves huevos your way for breakfast.

Chaparrita’s has a variety of stews, including asada, pastor, carnitas, birria, mole, pollo roja and tinga. It also offers moyetes, two slices of crusty bread with your choice of stew.

Drink options include horchata, Jamaica, coffee and Pepsi products.
