GHENT, WV (WVNS) - An image is making its rounds online, sparking debate.
The image is a cardboard sign on a table with the words ‘Vendor Removed For Selling AI Art’ written on it.
The sign was placed after a vendor at Dragoncon was kicked out for selling products with AI Art plastered on them.
59News reached out to Tsubasacon Staff to find out their stance on AI Art. Tsubasacon is one of the most popular conventions in West Virginia
“When you have an AI generated image sold as an original piece, you're also a fraud and you're committing fraud by telling someone that this is a unique piece when in actuality you didn't make it," said David Richmond, the Vice-Chairman of Tsubasacon.
The Tsubasacon policy states in part quote:
...Original artwork must be displayed with it [fanart], sinc
