BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - A popular German tradition is making its way to Beckley as organizers gear up for the Oktoberfest celebration.

Food and drinks will be part of the event as well as dancing and live music. Organizers with Beckley Concert Association and the City of Beckley have collaborated to bring Oktoberfest to the Historic Black Knight venue. Guests will have a chance to enjoy authentic German cuisine and enjoy music from a live polka band.

"We're looking forward to some great polka dance music," said Beckley Concert Association Publicity Committee member, Audrey Stanton-Smith. "We're going to have the buffet from the City of Beckley that kind of goes along with the German theme and just two hours of great music."
