MARSHFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Police are investigating the deaths of a couple in Marshfield.

Officers responded to a house just off the square, around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9. They found a man and a woman dead inside the home.

Chief Doug Fannemn said the evidence likely confirmed a murder-suicide. Police will conduct autopsies to confirm the cause of death. The chief said he is working on the next of kin before releasing the identities.
