A man in the state's west has been charged with allegedly supplying drugs following a massive week-long police blitz in NSW targeting drug supply and organised crime.

More than 290 people were arrested and charged in early September, as officers across the NSW Police force took part in a national week of action under Operation Vitreus, which works to disrupt large-scale drug supply and organised crime activity.

Operation Vitreus ran from September 1 through to September 5, with an estimated combined street value of all drugs seized during the operation of more than $264 million.

One of the operation's most notable arrests was related to a man from Forbes allegedly supplying prohibited drugs.
