MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Get ready to grab your bow! In just a few days, Bow-Deer hunting Season will be underway.
The season is a chance for hunters to harvest deer without antlers before they change their patterns and experience more hunting pressure during the gun deer season.
The Department of Natural resources held a session on Tuesday to remind hunters about safety and best practices.
The DNR said if you are an experienced hunter, it’s important to stay in the loop and be aware of other hunters and deer in the area.
