Emergency services from across Coventry were called to a pub fire in Coventry on Wednesday morning (10 September). It is understood four people managed to escape a blaze on the ground floor of the Black Prince pub in Tile Hill.
They were treated at the scene by ambulance crews, with one being taken to hospital. It is thought police were also at the scene.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service told CoventryLive: "At 7.40am on Wednesday 10 September, we responded to an incident on Jardine Crescent, Coventry.
"Three fire engines and two brigade response vehicles attended, crewed by firefighters from Foleshill , Coventry, and Canley fire stations.
"This was a fire on the ground floor of a two-storey pub. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the fi
