(Williston, ND) — More passengers are traveling through the Williston Basin International Airport. Airport Director Anthony Dudas says WBIA tallied record-breaking traffic this summer, as July set a new record with over 97-hundred flyers for the single month. Last month followed suit with just shy of 96-hundred passengers, making it the second-busiest August in the airport’s history and a near-ten percent increase over the same month last year. Dudas says the increase can be attributed to Delta Air Lines and United maintaining several daily flights to cities including Minneapolis and Denver. Passenger traffic is up over eight percent year-to-date, as Williston Basin is on pace to make 2025 the second busiest year in the airport’s history.
