PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Tigard Mayor Heidi Lueb resigned from her position Tuesday night, citing personal health as well as growing tension with staff and fellow councilors.
In a long statement posted on her website, Lueb thanked the city of Tigard and also shared her struggles — both personal and with others.
"All this work comes at a personal cost to myself and my family," Lueb said in a statement. "While I don’t regret that choice, my mental and physical health have deteriorated.
