NORTH PROVIDENCE – Beginning this Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. and running through Sunday, Sept. 14 at noon, Stephanie (Coro) Barlow, along with Special Olympics Rhode Island athlete Ryan Fleming, will make 100 free throws every hour, on the hour, or 2,400 total shots in 24 hours, as part of Barlow’s annual fundraiser.

The 24 Hours of Nothing But Net event has become a tradition, and each year they work to make it bigger and better. This year’s fundraiser at 25 Sorrell Road in North Providence will feature live DJs volunteering their time, local businesses and restaurants donating food and services, corporate sponsors stepping up to support, fun activities such as yard games, and a possible dunk tank.

The goal is to raise funds and build awareness and community support for the athletes
