LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) -- A man was arrested this week on charges of bribery and robbery after reports state he threatened a relative and then tried to convince an arresting officer to let him off on a summons.

Officers with the Liberty Police Department were dispatched to a bank in the 4400 block of Belmont Avenue on Monday afternoon after a concerned caller reported that an "elderly" woman was being threatened by a male relative, the incident report states.

The caller told police dispatch that the man, identified as Brandon Faunda, was "screaming" at the woman and claiming he was going to kill her if she didn't give him $500, according to reports.

Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the woman, as well as Faunda.
