CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The man who let his dogs attack Cincinnati police officers back in March has been sentenced.
On Wednesday, Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Wende Cross sentenced Darryl Stowers to one year in prison.
Stowers, 26, was indicted by a grand jury on one count of felonious assault and two misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and assault in April.
On March 29, Cincinnati police responded to 100 Craft St. around 1 a.m. for a report of shots fired, police previously said.
Police say a woman at the scene told them that Stowers had hit her with a firearm during an argument.
