BRADENTON, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A SWAT team has surrounded a house in Bayshore Gardens and is talking to an armed suspect inside, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday night.

The home is in the 800 block of 63rd Avenue West. A large law enforcement presence, including helicopters, has sealed off roads into that area.

The sheriff’s office tells ABC7 more details will be released later. Drivers should avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
