LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) launched TextLNK on Wednesday, a free text messaging service designed to keep residents updated on street and utility projects.

Powered by TextMyGov, TextLNK delivers project-specific notifications such as construction schedules, detours, and progress updates. LTU will run the service as a one-year trial beginning in mid-September, with the option to extend.

“We continue to prioritize street and utility improvements across the city and work to elevate our customer service every day,” said LTU Director Liz Elliott. “TextLNK gives people a simple, direct way to stay informed about improvements happening in their neighborhoods and along their daily routes.”
