CLEVELAND, Ohio — The streak of pleasant September weather isn’t going anywhere just yet. Sunshine, mild afternoons and cool nights will stick around through the end of the work week, keeping conditions comfortable across Northeast Ohio.

High temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 70s to low 80s Wednesday and Thursday, with overnight lows dipping into the 40s and 50s.

The clear, crisp nights are thanks to dry air and calm winds under high pressure. A lake breeze will once again develop Wednesday afternoon, bringing a touch of cooler air near Lake Erie.

Friday will bring more of the same, with temperatures again in the 70s and 80s, before a warmer push arrives on Saturday. Afternoon highs Saturday should reach well into the 80s for most spots. Nights will also grow milder, with
