Reaction across the United States continues to pour out following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, including the Volunteer State.

Govenor Bill Lee urged everyone to pray for Kirk's family following the shooting, he took to X saying in part:

" @MariaLeeTN & I ask Tennesseans to join us in lifting up Charlie’s wife Erika, two children & entire family to the Lord, and to be in prayer for our Nation that is in desperate need of God’s healing."

Senator Marsha Blackburn shared a personal photo with Kirk on X :

"Charlie Kirk touched the lives of countless people across America, and the movement he started changed our country for the better. I am devastated by his passing, and words fail to describe how much of a loss this is for our nation. W
