State and city officials will be marking the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in a variety of ways today.

Gov. Josh Green, Mayor Rick Blangiardi, and representatives from the Honolulu police, fire and Emer- gency Medical Serv­ices departments will attend the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Tamarind Park on the corner of Bishop and King streets from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. The Royal Hawaiian Band and Celtic Pipes &Drums of Hawai‘i will be performing at the public ceremony.

At 6 p.m., Blangiardi will lead the Mayor’s Remembrance Ceremony at the Eternal Flame outside Honolulu Hale. Also attending will be Honolulu Police Department Interim Chief Rade K.
