COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 19-year-old man was indicted Monday after allegedly shooting his sister and later firing at officers during a barricade situation at a southeast Columbus home last month.

Nathen Thorn was indicted on three counts of felonious assault with firearm specifications, one count of having weapons while under disability and one count of strangulation, according to Franklin County Common Pleas Court records.

On Aug. 30, the city's public safety department received a 911 call about a domestic violence incident at a home in the 800 block of , according to a release from Columbus Division of Police Chief Elaine Bryant.
