NEW YORK (PIX11) -- On the 24th remembrance of the Sept. 11 attacks, New York Governor Kathy Hochul passed a new round of bills to help bolster support for the family members of victims.

The three new pieces of legislation will expedite the World Trade Center disability and death benefit application process, revitalize the September 11th Worker Protection Task Force, and give extra civil service exam points for children and siblings of NYC sanitation workers who died as a result of 9/11-related illnesses and injuries.
