BOROUGHWIDE — Throughout this week, several organizations and community groups have been hosting events to recognize and remember the victims and survivors of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Canarsie Park hosted a 9/11 tribute remembering victims and honoring survivors and first responders on Sunday, Sept. 7. The ceremony was sponsored by The Newtown Foundation and Brooklyn Jefferson Lions Club.
