STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- On the 24th anniversary of the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, New York’s top elected official has signed new legislation to support the families of those who lost their lives as a result of that tragic day.

On Thursday, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that she has signed three bills to expand access to resources and provide more opportunities for the families of 9/11 victims, including one sponsored by a Staten Island lawmaker.
