JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - A 91-year-old person suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Janesville, police reported Thursday.
JPD explained a vehicle leaving a business parking lot in the 300 block of West Delavan Drive hit the 91-year-old pedestrian, who was on the sidewalk.
Janesville Police and Fire Departments responded around 7:30 a.m.
Officials took the victim to Mercy Hospital. A MedFlight later took the 91-year-old to UW-Hospital for severe injuries.
JPD noted the driver involved is cooperating with investigators. No charges are being filed at this time, police said.
Police are still investigating the crash.
