A teacher in Greenville County, South Carolina, has been put on administrative leave after the district says it was made aware of an inappropriate message on social media attributed to the teacher.

Wynne Boliek, a teacher at Southside High School, was put on leave while the district fully investigates and follows the required due process.

The statement from the district said:

"As this is a personnel matter, we are prevented from providing further details. As always, we expect all staff members to conduct themselves in a professional manner that best represents our district and schools."
