WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Watervliet Police reported on Thursday that two arrests were made in a recent firearm investigation. Daheem Wilson, 19, and a 16-year-old, whose name was not release due to their age, both face felony weapon charges.

On September 9 just before 2 p.m., police responded to 23rd Street near Second Avenue in Watervliet for reports of a dispute in which handguns had purportedly been brandished. Arriving officers found two young men in the area, including Wilson, who reportedly tried to run away as police approached, but was stopped and taken into custody after a short pursuit.

Watervliet Police stated that Wilson was allegedly seen tossing a gun underneath a nearby parked car during the chase. Detectives recovered a loaded, unserialized "ghost gun" under the vehic
