GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Noah Hunton, a rising country artist from Ocala, will release a new single titled “Florida is Home.” He gave TV20 viewers a preview on Thursday.

Hunton and songwriter Mike Geirer joined TV20’s Kristin Chase at noon to explain the inspiration behind the music.

“My wife came to me one morning and said, ‘Honey, we’re clearing the calendar. We need to write a song about Florida because it’s just fantastic being here,” said Geirer.

Hunton is traveling the country on his Small Town Truth tour.
