Ahead of the Raisin Region Conservation Authority’s (RRCA) 2026 budget process, which will see a draft plan developed by the end of November, general manager and secretary-treasurer Alison McDonald returned to Cornwall city council for a second time this year to talk about the organization’s ongoing projects.

McDonald highlighted how the RRCA recently created its 2025-28 Strategic Action Plan , which details priorities and goals that were developed by staff, board members, community partners, and residents. The plan includes details about developing science-based strategies for watershed management and stewardship, connecting people with nature through outdoor experiences, strengthening community partnerships, diversifying the organization’s revenue sources, and more.
