BUFFALO, N.Y. — In light of what happened Wednesday in Utah , a renewed conversation about political violence is happening in the United States right now.
We've seen high profile acts of political violence in recent years from the assassination attempts on President Donald Trump to the attacks on Minnesota state lawmakers in June.
On Thursday, 2 On Your Side talked with someone who studies what can lead to political violence and where it's headed in our country.
"Yesterday is almost a predictive culmination of a lot of factors that we're dealing with in the United States right now," said Clairissa Breen, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Co-Coordinator of the Conflict Analysis and Resolution graduate program at Buffalo State University.
Breen is an Associate Professor of Cr
