The Salisbury branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) met on Sept. 8 at the Rowan Public Library to continue its commitment to the national AAUW mission of advancing gender equity for women and girls. Under the leadership of President Da’Tarvia Parrish, members gathered to develop five-star programming aimed at addressing critical issues facing women in Rowan County.
