BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - The moment, and horror, when a bullet struck Charlie Kirk’s neck , killing him during a Turning Point USA kickoff event at Utah Valley University Wednesday, wasn’t confined to the crowd.

Russell Dale, a senior at Virginia Tech, said the video of it was sent to him in a message.
“When I saw it, like my heart actually sank. It was, it was horrible,” said Dale.
Dale said he can’t imagine that happening on his own college campus, where Kirk was set to speak at one of his signature “Prove Me Wrong” debates September 24.
