A Nowra man has been jailed after breaking into two Shoalhaven homes and stealing items ranging from garden tools to a PlayStation 5.

Hayden Charles Wright, 25, of Quickmatch Street, Nowra, was arrested on April 10, 2025, after being linked to burglaries in November 2024 and April 2025.

He pleaded guilty to a 2024 aggravated break, enter and steal in company at Tomerong, involving items valued at more than $10,000, and a 2025 charge of breaking into a Kiama Heights home and stealing a PlayStation 5.

Wright appeared before Nowra Local Court from custody via audio-visual link to be sentenced on Wednesday, September 10.

The court heard that Wright and an unidentified co-accused entered a Tomerong home through a doggy door on November 16, 2024, and stole smart watches, jewellery, clothing,
