The New Orleans Fire Department is investigating after they say they've been made aware of an inappropriate and insensitive comment made by one of their employees that appears to mock Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Their statement reads in part: Advertisement
"This conduct is unacceptable, and it does not reflect the values, standards, or mission of our Department. The matter is under review according to City and Departmental Policy."
AG Liz Murrill also released a statement saying in part:
"This comment on social media by a person in a position of public trust is unacceptable and disturbing. It’s even more disturbing in invoking God in the delivery of the bullet that took Charlie Kirk’s life. This was an indefensible, disgusting act of political violence with no place i
