BUFFALO, N.Y. — A member of the Erie County Legislature is urging the New York State Attorney General’s office to investigate Sheriff’s Narcotics Chief D.J. Granville after he pleaded guilty to a crash last year involving several county-owned vehicles.

The incident occurred when Granville struck multiple parked cars while driving a county-owned truck.

Legislator Taisha St. Jean Tard, whose district includes the area where the crash took place, said she has received numerous calls from constituents concerned about the case.
