Turning Point CEO and co-founder Charlie Kirk's brand of conservative activism is well known on college campuses across the country.
In the wake of his assassination, figures at many universities are sharing their thoughts on the life he lived, including Auburn head football coach Hugh Freeze.
After practice on Thursday, Freeze, who met Kirk while coaching at Liberty and viewed him as a friend, spoke highly of him as a model of faith.
"For me, he modeled what he believed in better than anyone I’ve ever met," said Freeze. “I shared with the kids and even texted my daughters this morning, like, ‘Do I model for you that faith is the most important thing to me, family, and then this room (of players)?' He did that. He modeled what he believed in."
