HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -- The Hershey Bears has a new jersey to celebrate its affiliation with the Washington Capitals.
This year, the Bears are marking 20 years of the partnership, which has produced the winningest team in American Hockey League history. On Wednesday, the team unveiled a Capitals-inspired jersey to add to its rotation.
Dubbed the "Screaming Bear," the sweater pays homage to the Capitals' "Screaming Eagle" design. The shoulders also feature the Bears' alternate 20 year celebration logo.
Bears players will wear the jersey four times during the 2025-2026 season: • Nov. 16 (kick off to affiliation celebration) • Dec. 12 • Jan. 3 • March 15
The team will auction off the jerseys after the March 15 game.
