The Cleveland Browns may be claiming they were “ambushed” by the city of Cleveland’s lawsuit over their planned move to Brook Park, but the team should be preparing to write a very large check to the city instead of fighting the inevitable.

Chris Quinn said the team has clearly violated a term of the lease that prohibits negotiating for a new home while the lease is in force. He predicted the dispute will end not with a judge stopping the move but with significant financial damages being paid to Cleveland.
" The lease is really ironclad on this," Quinn stated emphatically. " It’s stupid. But they signed it. You cannot negotiate to move somewhere else while that lease is in existenc
