Actor and stuntman Neil Summers, who had roles in such films as “Dick Tracy” and “Robocop” has died. He was 81.
David Friedman, a family friend, told TMZ that Summers died in his Utah home on Sept. 4, surrounded by loved ones. An official cause of death has not yet been announced.
Summers is perhaps best known for playing The Rodent in the 1990 Warren Beaty movie “Dick Tracy,” based off of the popular comic strip.
He also had roles in “RoboCop,” “The Shawshank Redemption” and “My Name Is Nobody.”
In addition, Summers did stuntwork for a number of other films, including “Holes,” “Bedazzled,” “U.S. Marshalls,” “Harry and the Hendersons,” “Howard the Duck,” “Better Off Dead,” “The Outlaw Josey Wales,” and “Mars Attacks!”
