Fridges don't use Celsius temperature on their dials

People are just now discovering the true meaning of the dial numbers on their fridges - and it's not what you might think. Despite being a crucial appliance in every kitchen, for years people have been storing essential items like milk, fresh meat, and vegetables in their fridges without realising they may not be setting the temperature correctly.

Whether it's an integrated fridge freezer or a standalone fridge, there will be a small white dial inside, typically located at the top right near the door hinge. This dial is used to set the temperature.
