Several Loose Women stars were notably absent from the National Television Awards ceremony earlier this week. The ITV show, which has been broadcasting since 1999, was unsuccessful in the daytime category. ‌

It was blown out the water by rival This Morning once more. Viewers of the show will be aware that the programme's future has been questioned following a string of financial cutbacks at the network. ‌

Alongside Lorraine, the number of Loose Women episodes will see a substantial decrease from January. The ITV chat show has consistently showcased personalities including Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore on its panel for numerous years. ‌
