Councillors will be asked next week to approve £1.65m to help regenerate parts of Troon. ‌

If approved, £1m will be set aside to progress internal refurbishment and upgrades to the Troon Municipal Buildings , comprising the Town Hall/ Concert Hall and Walker Hall. ‌

And an allocation of £500,000 could also go to progress an extension to the swimming pool at Troon Leisure Club. ‌

Members of South Ayrshire Council will also be asked to rubber stamp £150,000 to progress design work to improve the public realm around the Municipal Buildings and wider environment to “support development of a café culture in the town.”
