Frank Lampard is boosted by the recovery of Jay Dasilva from an injury setback that prevented the Coventry City defender from joining up with the Wales squad during the international break.
The head coach says his first choice left-back has been managing an ankle issue that flares up from time to time but is fit and available for the weekend when the Sky Blues host Norwich City at the CBS Arena.
Explaining the situation, the City boss said: “He had a bit of a problem in the Oxford game, which is something that he occasionally gets. It was ruling him out of training but he’s managed to be training this week, so I’m relatively happy.”
