PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The I-676 ramp toward 30th Street is has been reopened after being shut down for several hours Friday morning due to an accident.

The accident, which appears to have been a stuck truck, closed the ramp to I-76 eastbound, causing traffic to back up along I-676 westbound during the morning commute.

Traffic Reporter Matt Pellman suggests drivers stick to local roads to avoid the traffic, including the local Vine or Washington Avenue.

The incident also kept things extra crowded on the westbound side of the Schuylkill Expressway through South Philadelphia and University City.
