LONDON — U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer fired the country's ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, on Thursday over his links to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Ahead of President Donald Trump's arrival in the U.K. for his second state visit, Starmer dismissed the veteran British politician after the publication of emails that Mandelson sent to Epstein, in which he backed the disgraced financier who faced jail for sex offenses.
