GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person has died after an apparent attempted robbery overnight in Glendale.

Police responded to the reported shooting just after 10 p.m. on Thursday near 67th Avenue and Butler Drive .

A Glendale PD spokesperson said an initial investigation found that two men were involved in an attempted robbery, leading to them both being shot.

One of the shooting victims initially had life-threatening injuries, and Arizona’s Family confirmed at the scene that the person died from those injuries.

Officers are looking into suspect information. The scene remains active Friday morning as detectives investigate.
